How to Install Windows Cursors Tutorial

1. Double-click on the My Computer icon, then double-click on the C: Hard Drive icon.
2. Double-click on the Windows folder then Cursors folder.
3. Create a new folder and name it whatever you like. We will call ours My Cursors for this tutorial.
4. double-click to open your new folder, copy the cursors you want to add to the folder you just created.
5. Now to add them to Windows so you can use them go to Start then Control Panel.
   a. For Win 10, Win 8, Win 7 and Vista click on Hardware and Sound, then Mouse.
   b. For Windows XP double-click on the Printers and Other Hardware icon then the Mouse icon.
6. Click on the Pointers tab.
7. There you will see a list of cursor events under the Customize heading.
8. Click in the box to highlight an event, use the Browse button to navigate to the folder you created. The browse box will put you into the WindowsCursors folder.
9. Open the folder you created and pick whichever cursor you want to use for that event. You can go through and add new cursors for each event if you wish.
10. If you like you can go up to Scheme and click Save As.. to name your new scheme.

Op een hoge resolutie scherm (Retina noemt Apple dat) zag de toch al matige Windows cursor er zeer beroerd uit. Vandaar mijn eigen ontwerp. Hieronder kun je de verschillende cursor sets downloaden. Unzip dit en rechtsklik op '_install' en kies vervolgens 'installeren'. Nu kun je de cursor set selecteren in de muisopties. De cursors en installers zijn backwards compatible t/m Windows XP! Instructievideo (engelstalig):
